We´re in Brasil now, have been to Rio and to Buzios, a lovely beachtown near Rio, and are now on an island outside Salvador called Morro de sao paulo. We are enjoying the beach life at the moment and don´t know when and where to go next...have been on a boattrip around the island which was amazing, we got to snorkle and eat lobster on the beach. Salvador and Rio was huge cities with an reputation of lots of crime... it was beautiful too, but you always have to take care and not go off into some new areas. Therefore it gets very touristy, since all the tourists huddle up in the safe areas...I love the culture, the samba, the open friendly people. Nice food, good drinks. A lot more expensive here though than in the other countries we´ve been in. Now only two weeks left, It´s very strange to think that it´s approaching christmas at home!
